These valves are designed for fitting to heavy chemical reactors:
- fill valves are installed in the dome
- discharge valves are installed at the bottom
The connecting flange and valve nose are tailored to match the reactor geometry so as to keep areas of build-up down to a minimum.
Withdrawing the piston has a decrusting effect, dislodging any solidified chemicals that might have penetrated into the valve.
